The Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics have completed a trade that would bring Jamal Crawford back to L.I., according to sources close to the deal.

The Clippers are seeking a veteran power forward, the source said.

The Celtics are seeking backup point guard Goran Dragic, who is expected to be waived this week.

The trade is a major boost for the Clippers, who have struggled mightily with injuries.

Crawford, a two-time All-Star who was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers last season, was averaging 18.4 points and 5.7 assists in 29.9 minutes per game.

The 29-year-old averaged 17.8 points and 6.6 assists in 28.1 minutes per contest last season for the Lakers.

Crawford was acquired in the offseason from the Phoenix Suns for Brandon Ingram.

The 6-foot-8 Crawford has struggled to adapt to a new position and was not the same scorer as he was in Phoenix.

Crawford had seven points and five rebounds in 19 minutes in Friday night’s loss to the Chicago Bulls, a game that the Clippers trailed by six points.

The 27-year.-old Crawford was averaging 19.2 points and 7.9 assists in 26.9 games last season.

Crawford also has four career triple-doubles, the most by a player in the NBA this season.
